I. PRINCIPAL OF CHETTINAD QUARRY SCHOOLS:
RBGCD Volunteers Mr Arul Samy’s School participated to serve L. Pudur & Ammapatti villages. Compassion is the need of the hour. The under deserved need our attention in terms of education, literacy and by the RBGCD initiative we want to reach out to as many people as we can. I want to tell them I am there for them and that we care.They also need education as there is a lot of wasting of resources that is precious for society. With work together, we can certainly help all. Thank You
About 120 people in L Pudur & 300 people in Ammapatti were served on the occasion of RBGCD.
II. CHENNAI:
1. RBGCD Volunteer Kavitha Sridharan from Chingari Jewellery donated old clothes on the streets
2. RBGCD Volunteer Kaushik Mohan Kumar (A Youth diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome) shaved his hair because he wanted to look like his friend who is undergoing chemo therapy & has recently been diogosed with cancer. A rare act of Compassion.
3. RBGCD Volunteer Bhargavi Mukund served the cows at the Neelangarai Goshala on RBGCD
4. RBGCD Volunteer Bhargavi Mukund also served sweets at the local orphanage Kakum Karangal
5. RBGCD Volunteer Dr. Selvi Rajendran’s family served 100 Water Bottles at the local market to thirsty travelers .
III. BENGALURU
1. RBGCD Volunteer Mr MR Thakurta served at the Sri Anandamayee Shirdi Sai Baba Temple & donated towards offering food to autistic children at Hunsemarada Palya
2. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Thakurta sponsored a security guard’s child for treatment who was rushed on emergency & treated for typhoid.
3. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Anurag & his friend served the Rakum School for the Blind with food
4. RBGCD Volunteer Ms Mamta Hemrajani served 10 food packets @ the Shirdi Sai Baba Temple at Cambridge Layout.
5. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Jayanth (President at Café Coffee Day) & his family served 500 packets of food to street people in R.T. Nagar.
6. RBGCD Volunteer Mrs Swati Birje served more than 100 food packets of home cooked food & distributed near Raja Rajeshwari Nagar
7. RBGCD Volunteer Ms Dhanashree served the beggars new Sai Baba Temple Koramangala.
8. RBGCD Volunteer Ms Vilina Sequeira (Manager Source Bits) & her friends served the Food for Infant & handicapped Children @ The Missionaries of Charity
9. RBGCD Volunteer Ms Rama Awasthi donated food packets near Sri Sai Baba Temple RT Nagar.
10. RBGCD Volunteer Mrs Bhanu Vishwanath made a donation to Anatha Shishu Nivas on RBGCD
11. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Ravi Kumar (SAP Executive, Mahindra) & TEAM raised funds for the RBGCD Service
12. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Praveen Govindaih & his family served Bala Sai Orphanage in Uttarahalli. His 1 year old daughter Mauli also joined the occasion.
13. RBGCD Volunteer Mrs Amrita & Mrs Nandy served lunch & dinner respectively at the Rakum School for Blind at Indiranagar. About 250 children were served
14. RBGCD Volunteer Mrs Sandeepa & her family served food to the homeless on the streets near Jayanagar.
15. RBGCD Volunteer Mrs Asha Kilaru (Founder Bangalore Birth network) served food to 20 people on the streets on May 10th RBGCD.
16. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Fabian spent time with a support staff @ his Office who operates the lift & is handicapped.
17. RBGCD Volunteer Mr Manjunath served food to the children @ The Association of Physically Disabled
